CSI - 183 and 184

I am loving the CSI challenges, as I am still struggling with motivation after a long hiatus from scrapbooking.  I have the photos and I have the product, but I find I still need inspiring or prompting.  So something like CSI is perfect!

Hello there!  Well here is the layout I created for the above challenge at CSI.  I love this layout, because it has a very wonderful story to it.  And... it was selected as the most wanted layout - YAY.  Thanks for looking :D

CSI - 175, 176 and 177

So yeah, I am a bit behind in this blog :D...
Here are my layouts for the CSI challenges.  Its been great playing along with the challenges each week.  Its really helped me get out of a rut that I had been in for years!
Each week after reading the challenge, within 5 minutes I have an idea and a photo in mind, talk about making it easy!!  Such a great way to get through your stash of photos.  So go check out CSI here.

So the sketch and hearts are ideas I got from perusing pinterest boards.  The original layout really caught my eye, it was created by Nancy Damiano for Simple Stories you can find it here.

CSI - 172

I was privileged to be asked to be a special investigator for the CSI Case File 172... Here are the details of the case, along with the sketch.

And here is my contribution for the case:

This layout was so hard to photograph because of the colour tones.  It's of our trip to the beautiful Bay of Islands in New Zealand.
I used all the colours in the case.  The evidence is: nautical elements, string/twine, photo corners.
And the testimony I went with was: journal about a trip and to journal on a postcard.
Thanks for looking.
