CSI #220

CSI Challenge time again! This case had some really pretty soft hues, so nice and easy when you have two daughters that you love to scrap about!  Here is my interpretation of the case below.

So the evidence I chose to focus on for this case was 'stripes' which i used in my choice of patterned papers, both the blue and the pink.  I also chose 'stitching and decorative borders', which I combined. The stitching border on the pink edge is a decorative stitch, and my sewing machine did not like doing that on paper! I had a bit of a tough time and the thread kept snapping, bummer.  I also stitched around the edge of the blue paper, this time a nice and easy straight stitch.  Another evidence I chose was 'food' and 'sprinkles' both in the ink and the sprinkles on the top doughnut peaking out behind the photo.
The testimony for this layout and case was to document holiday food.  The word holiday is used by Australian's in place of vacation, so I chose to do a layout about our recent holiday to the USA and focussed on the list of food items my girls wanted to try at Disneyland.

Thanks for looking!

CSI 218

Here is my layout for challenge 218 over on the CSI blog- go check it out!  I would like to credit @scrapbooknerdca whose beautiful layout I pinned to my pinterest board a while ago, and I totally scraplifted her sunshine ray's idea, because her page was so beautiful.
Thanks for looking.

CSI 217

Here is my layout for CSI 217 challenge.  I always tend to like a similar colour palette when I scrapbook, so I struggle with colours outside of that.  CSI is always a great spot to go if you need prompting outside your comfort zone :D.
